Vodacom deals over the phone causes months of hardship and endless phonecalls to just get back what you had.

What a terrible 2 months it has been :-( A Sales person from Umhlanga selling me a data deal for my two data contracts at Vodacom at a very special price At the end of April the new deals added was NOTHING that the guy from Umhlanga told me over the phone. I hate it when sales people take you for a ride and tell lies just to get a deal next to their name. I phone customer care at Vodacom to ask to revert it back to the data deal I had. This morning I receive a sms saying the migration took place and that I will pay an extra R9 for insurance etc. Go to the Myvodacom app and check out the data deal - just to see that I am now paying R966 for the same data deal I had 2 months ago for R399 - which is also a *******! Another call to customer care informs me that the customer care person had to inform me that the discount will fall away if you revert back to the original. Who is their right mind will say yes to R966 if your 24 month data contract was R399. The case must now be escalated and they will hopefully come back with a positive outcome. They are quick to press a button, add VAS to your account and take your money in an instant, but when they need to rectify a mistake on their side it takes weeks and you must wait for a credit. I am so over Vodacom and their incompetence to do their work.
