Vodacom deals - Be careful
I purchased R29.00 airtime and it was confirmed by sms that my airtime balance is R96.95 and that I also get R29.00 free airtime to use for today only. Now that is a fair deal. Is it? I made 2 calls and checked the airtime balance there after. To my amazement I still had R6.00 balance on my free airtime but now my airtime balance has come down from R96.95 to R80.80. So in fact Vodacom charged me R16.15 to use my free airtime. Now that is what I call "really looking after Vodacom" and not the customer. So all I can say, doing business with Vodacom is not always what you expect it to be.

01 Dec 2021, 12:35I know exactly how it works. You have not answered my question. How do I get debited with my own airtime while I still have free airtime. How many people actually check the balances of this airtime. It is easy to pull wool over peoples eyes and then when it is queried have a lot of explanations hoping they will just stop. The one star rating for Vodacom is one star to many.
