Vodacom deactivating Dual Sim option on all mobile devices.

I use a Huawei P30 Lite bought from Vodacom. This device supports dual sim use according to the manufacturer but does not pick up my second Vodacom sim. I contacted the manufacturer for answers. They informed me that the Dual Sim option on all mobile devices bought from Vodacom or MTN has been deactivated. CellC and Telkom do not do this. I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for many many years and I find it ridiculous that they are allowed to deactivate such features purely based on increasing profits. I am not happy, not happy at all. The moment a carrier or service provider is allowed to alter devices or insert a little Vodacom slide at startup you can bet its being done to ***** the consumer over.
