Vodacom
I bought a Samsung Note 20 from Vodacom which was on promotion with a Samsung TV that you will get with the purchase, after following and completing information required for the TV; slip of purchase, ID copy and TV license. After weeks went by I contacted Vodacom regarding the promotion they directed me to Samsung, after contacting them; they said the slip did not have a date on and I must send it to *** - which I did, after weeks went by I phoned them again this time they needed an photo of the IEM number of the phone and again a copy of my ID, once again I send it to *** - weeks went by and I phoned again - this time my son (who is using the phone) had to send a affidavit that he was staying with me since I am the valid owner of the TV license - once again which we did and send it - weeks went by - I phoned again - this time they need my son to get a TV license on his name. What will be next? This phone is on my name, I paid for it, I am the valid owner of the TV license I am the owner of the phone / contract - Why are we being ask for more and more details and information, is this a **** to get people to buy the product and then afterwards not receive the free promotional item, after phoning about 6 times and still they are not happy with paperwork etc supp****. This is a trick to get customer to take out expensive contracts on phones, deceiving customers with free promotional items - then afterwards asking for so many info or paperwork that the customer will just leave it and forget about it. Not a fair practice both by Vodacom SA and Samsung
