Vodacom data SIM contract
I am having a major problem with my data SIM contract that I have with Vodacom I went to 2 stores to try and get help but was unsuccessful. First store tried but no results. Second store also didn't have network so they didn't even try to assist. I am going to cancel everything with Vodacom and go private.

18 Oct 2022, 12:58They have contacted me. Bottom line is that I am wasting me time. I took a data sim card only more that 1 year 8months works fine. I was told it can work in any device that is why I only took the sim card contract and not a wifi router. It worked fine all these months and years now that say that its a home wifi and it must only work in a home Wi-Fi router. If I knew that then I wouldn't have taken it out. I was told that the contract needs to be changed or canceled. I am not going to do that as it was agreed via both parties that it is a sim card data deal only that will work in any device. That is what I agreed on and that is what I am and was paying for all this time. I advise everyone not to deal with vodacom go privately or another network provider.

18 Oct 2022, 17:18Please don't worry to contact me as it is clear that you guys make changes without informing us. How can something work for such a long time and now out of the blue stop. It is clear that vodacom is restricting my sim even though I use so little data. There is no issue with my area for network as my friend has the very same deal and lives in the same area but doesn't have this problem. I was told by the technician that I am getting restricted because it picks up that I am using the sim in a mobile wifi router but I am using it at my house currently and have been using it in a mobile wifi router from the day I got it and it was working till date. Why with I buy another router when I have one or why wouldn't I take a wifi router the same time when I took the contact ? Its because when I was taking it out I showed them the router I have and they said it will work. They also said it will work I any device and any area as long as it has single.
