Vodacom data contract but signal drops everyday all day

I would like to place on record the extremely unsatisfactory service I have to be faced with by VODACOM.

I have a data contract with VODACOM (20 gigs) which is over a 24 months period. I am extremely unhappy because I battle every single day to connect to the internet, there is no network connection or the signal continuously drops. The main reason for me taking out this contract was due to the fact that I work from home. My work has suffered immensely. My income earning potential has been affected drastically.

I have been using a borrowed data contract (from a different service provider) since August 2019 out of desperation to get on with my work. Now I am forced to use the VODACOM data contract but I have been highly frustrated and regret every single day, having taken out the contract with VODACOM.

My data contract with VODACOM is being paid monthly but I am not receiving the benefit of the service. I am barely making income. I have to try to connect to the internet at late hours at night to see if I am able to connect. Why should I be so inconvenienced?

I called VODACOM cancellations on 11 February 2020 and after being on the phone for over 35 minutes and having spoken to 2 people, a lady by the name of Kanye told me that I would need to pay an excessive amount if I want to cancel the contract before the completion of the contract period OR I would need to collect contact details of 5 different people in the area experiencing the same problem as me so that VODACOM can investigate the situation in the area I am in. I find this to be utter nonsense and a ridiculous suggestion that I must find 5 people who have the same connectivity problem as I do so that VODACOM can investigate! Why should i do VODACOM's work?

I was also informed that a VODACOM staff member would call me within 48 working hours on my MTN cell phone number which I provided to Kanye. I did tell her I do not have a VODACOM call number. I have not received any call from VODACOM within the 48 hours.

Moreover VODACOM has removed the email complaints service on their website. Now consumers must phone and relate a long story all over again to someone who seems uninterested in the facts or who cannot actually provide any solution. In any event I do not have the luxury of being able go on a live chat as the network signal continuously drops. Also, by the way VODACOM live chat does not work - it is nonoperational. VODACOM service is pathetic.

After a further attempt to contact VODACOM on 16 February 2020, I sent an email at around 21h00 (as that was the time I managed to connect to the internet) to customer care and I finally received a response saying VODACOM takes about 14 days to provide feedback. What happens in my situation in the 14 days when I am unable to connect properly, and is VODACOM going to pay me for the business I am loosing in all this time? Instead to opt out of a contract which as I mentioned I am not getting any benefit off, I am told I need to pay VODACOM thousands to get out of.

This is the biggest mistake I have made to take up a data contract with VODACOM. I want to just get out of this contact without having to pay anything to VODACOM (there was no device included in the data contact - why should I pay such an excessive amount??) since I am not getting any benefit and I am being billed monthly for this contract.
