Vodacom darn did me bad, AGAIN......!

To whom this may concern,

This letter is to notify you, Vodacom, of a reoccurring problem. A handful of your consultants had been calling me since last month, attempting to inform me that I was ready for an upgrade since my contract was coming to an end. Following the offers that were provided to me, I elected to go with the same plan, but with a minor increase in the debit amount. I was then informed that the proposal would become effective immediately (on October 1, 2024).

Only on October 15th did I realize that my devices were still not connecting to my router, since I had previously assumed that this connectivity issue was caused by the electrical load reduction that had occurred at my location. When I called the contact center, the first agent informed me that she was able to pick up the successful new plan upgrade; nevertheless, a sim swap was performed against my vodacom contract number, which I had neither approved nor been aware of.

Furthermore, I was informed that a ***** case would be opened on my behalf and that it would take 30 days; while I wait, my account will be debited with the new installment amount, and the *****ster will benefit from what was meant to be my data. I was informed that I would be supp**** the reference number via email yesterday the 15th, seeing that the number in question was allocated to someone else by your staff member, and I have yet to receive verification that the case was even logged for me as of today, 14h30.

I am dissatisfied and disappointed with the service Vodacom continues to provide me on a human interactive level, because it appears that every time, I am due for an upgrade, your consultants commit ***** against my profile, as with the previous upgrade, a phone was *****ulently issued to a syndicate, and now this! I am unable to wait for the 30-day SLA; however, I require feedback within 48 hours confirming that any debit orders have been halted until this ***** case is concluded, as well as an apology for the inconvenience caused once more by you.

Please contact me within 48hrs to confirm that you will honor my request as your loyal customer for years. Thank you for your anticipated assistance in resolving my problem. Please contact me if you have any questions or need further clarity into this matter.

I apologize for saying this, but your personnel is simply ***********. On the 17th, a lady named Livia called me in response to my worry; she had no solutions but was confused. I highlighted that I also wanted all debit orders to be stopped; nonetheless, this was not processed, and the debit order was executed. Since Livia promised to get in touch with me by Friday at the latest, once she receives the complete specification from the upgrading department, I still do not have the case numbers I was promised as proof that this issue was truly forwarded to your ***** department.

Maria called me today, 23.10, to let me know that they are unable to help because your records confirm that I was the one who consented to the sim swap when you guys called me back on ***, a number I was unaware of until today. I am being denied access to both of the recordings of this incident. WHY is this so, I ask you?

On the very least, your personnel from online (Priscilla), i called asking for the vodacom ombudsman contact details and she was proud to say "i did not know them" and failed to even attempt to check them up for me as i refused to state my case again with someone else at Vodacom.

What can of customer service are you driving. We are not going any "further together", this ends now!
