Vodacom damaged my phone

I have recently been experiencing problems with my Samsung S7, the phone is slow and switches off often. I have been a customer with Vodacom from about 20 years. I have 4 contracts with them, one of which is a red VIP. I sent my cell phone in at Vodacom Mall@Reds on 15th September 2016, I received the phone back on the 29th September. Vodacom sent me progress reports via sms stating that the phone had to be sent to the Advanced Repair Centre.

When I picked up my cell phone it had not been repaired Vodacom claimed that it was water damage. Firstly the phone should be water resistant, and I had never submerged the phone in any water. They told me to send it to Samsung. Secondly when I tried to put my sim card back into the phone, the sim holder was not going in, after examining the phone I noticed that the sim point is damaged and bent!

This is unacceptable Vodacom expects me to send the phone into Samsung at my own expense after they damaged the phone and claim that there is also water damage....... The phone is water resistant according to its advertising.

Vodacom needs to fix this, I have been a loyal customer since 1994
