Vodacom Damage Iphone - Refuse to Repair still under Warranty
On the 19th of August 2017 my Iphone was sent in for warranty repairs. (Job: ********** 6) This is were our problems started. Phone was booked in without as much as a scratch on it. It was spotless and never worked on it before. Then it was sent from Baywest Vodacom to PE repairs in Greenacres and from there to Johannesburg repairs. Excuses upon excuses why it is taking so long. Then the phone gets send back to Baywest with no reason at all and back to Greenacres repairs. Now nearly a month later get a message from Vodacom Greenacres that the phone is in JHB and that the phone has adhesive out side and a safety ***** was missing and they want to charge us for the repairs. 3 Job Numbers: ********** 6, ********** 3, ********** 3.
Please sort this out as I have proof and when phone was booked in there was NO damage on the phone. This phone was never worked on before. The Job Card was signed.
Why are there 3 Job Cards for this phone? Why was the adhesive on the outside never mentioned once? Why would Vodacom charge me R5698.86 to repair a warranty phone?
This e-mail will now be sent also to the Consumer Protection Ombudsman.
