Vodacom Customer Service, Worse than United Airlines!

I initially had problems terminating my contract with vodacom.

My contract had expired but VodaCON did not termiate the service. After several hangups from customer service (111) and compaints to their facebook page, I took to hello peter.

Eventually they had my service terminated in NOVEMBER 2016, 3 months after the contract end date had passed.

To my surprise come April 2017, 5 months after my contract was terminated I get a message from Burnard Raaff and Associates "You are listed on the credit bureau once account is settled in full we will inform Vodacom to update ITC records"

After enquiry it comes out that after 27 months (instead of 24) of direct debit deductions Vodacom didnt do the last direct debit and now have handed me over.

1. One of the biggest telecommunication companies in SA could not message me on my number which is still a vodacom number but instead hand me over for collection and have my name listed.

2. Vodacom expected me to dream up that I had an amount oweing and that it was to be paid in cash.

SHAME ON YOU!!!

There is no issue with paying whats due, but to receive this kind of pathetic service, I will definetly not be holding on to a vodacom number and hope current customers dont end up with this same kind of problem.
