Vodacom customer service support

I purchased an Apple iWatch 6 with sim capability, costing me over R10k, to be linked to my Vadacom number via my Apple iPhone model12 Max Pro. This is a service that Vodacom offers / advertises and is confirmed by Apple! To start the story short, we my secretary and myself are now trying since October 8th to get my iWatch linked to my Vodacom account! the exchange of over 30 e-mails, 5 visits to Vadacom and i-Store centers and many, many hours of phone call to various support centers later the problem is still not resolved! We are being sent from pillar to post with excuses and false promises with absolutely no progress! I can't express how frustrated I am having spent over R10k for the purchase of this Apple iWatch and many thousands of Rand in wasted company time without any support from Vodacom! Every attempt to connect the watch results in a message appearing: "Your Vodacom account is not eligible for this service, please contact your service provider" We contacted Vodacom at least 20 times and every time, after excuses such as "your contract is old" we opened a new Vodacom contract package, then we had to submit on company letterhead authorizing the new Vodacom account to be linked to this watch, which we did! WITH NO SUCCESS although many times we were told that everything is now sorted! I have never come across such arrogant, *********** customer support as offered by Vodacom to a customer loyal for some 30 years and has added several further accounts to their business!

I can only say please be aware what you might get involved in when seeking support from Vodacom and PLEASE think twice before getting an Apple iWatch that is supposed to be linked to your Vodacom number / account! It's a nightmare!
