Vodacom customer service incapable of connecting the dots

Where to start is the question. I guess the biggest current issue revolves around a R840 credit I received for my SMS not working for 6 months (and being told it was my problem until...voila...they solved it themselves). I have never seen where this credit was actually credited to my account. When i asked how I could be in arrears I'm told the credit was for airtime. But a credit should be a credit. Period. Not some mythical made up notion that I cannot even see anywhere. Ha...then I asked for an itemised account to see where it appeared, and am told I need to pay for it!

I have now called around 6 times on this issue alone. I then receive and sms saying it's all resolved when clearly it's not.

And now my SMS not working in Uganda and I cannot connect to any of the local networks....I guess because my account is in arrears (I won't even start on the fact vodacom cancelled my direct debit to ensure that I cannot pay them !).

Nobody seems capable of actually dealing with any issue systematically. Do they even have a CRM system in place?Last call I made the customer service woman assured me she'd send contact details and would personally deal with it. You guessed it...NADA.

Lost in the vortex of the theatre of the absurd which is Vodacom
