Vodacom Customer Relations - Typically Terrible
Good morning,
I have been trying for over a week to simply have a support ticket submitted to the technical team to look into why I cannot upgrade online or through the app.
I have spoken to 4 different consultants in the customer care department, 3 consultants in the online department, 2 consultants in the upgrades department and have emailed ********** with regard to the issue.
Not one consultant has been able to provide me with a reference number or any turnaround time and I have not received any reply on my email. It's almost as if Vodacom and it's staff simply do not give a **** about the communication required to keep customers at ease.
I understand that there might be a problem with the portal and app, but why the hell would you not at very least inform the clientele of the issue, and suggest a turnaround time for its remedy? It's as if Vodacom is a start-up with little to zero idea of how to handle customer relations. Pick up your damn game (not that your service has ever been anything but frustrating for the past 10 years that I have been with you).
I DO NOT WISH TO FACILITATE THE PROCESSING OF MY UPGRADE OVER THE TELEPHONE.
I simply want acknowledgement of your staff's efforts at trying to fix the problem with a damn date by which I can expect the services to be restored.
Alas, I doubt I should get my hopes up that anyone would even respond to this email, perfectly inline with the appalling service I have received every time that I've dealt with Vodacom.
The fact of the matter is, I do not want to deal with any of your staff, because I have never been assisted in anyway that didn't cause ungodly frustration. I wish to do my upgrade online (I am willing to wait for the website to be fixed) so that I can avoid any of Vodacom's employees as much as is humanly possible.
Please, for the love of everything that is good on this earth (definitely excluding Vodacom's client care policies), provide me with an estimated date by which I can expect the online service to be active again... it really is the most menial of requests.
Insincerely, Brian
