Vodacom customer careless

Well. This is being written out of sheer frustration For the second time at POS we were given incorrect information. We took out a uncapped wifi contract and specified to the agent that we needed a device that would work during load shedding. We know such a device exists as you have the mobi wife router. We really DID specify this at POS. But when we got home I realized that the LTE device we have is not such a device. So we went back to vodaworld and logged a complaint.. the second agent promised to call us with feedback but ofcourse nothing. So we made a third trip to vodaworld and the third agent said he would speak to the first two agents and call me the following day TO TELL US if it would be possible to organize a UPS deviae at coat price for us due to the inconvenience we have been cause by having to buy data during load shedding. And ofcourse almost a week later no call back. I hesitate to call it customer service or customer care. And I KNOW ALL about customer care as I worked at pier place and service park for a combined 10 years for vodacom, and have all the certificates one can get in the industry. Customer care is such a passion of mine and vodacom always had a special place in my life, but after this what I'll call is a **** show of service, I'm so saddened by the level of service received, or lack thereof. Where a consultant doesn't even introduce themselves or ask you your name. Never mind using your name at least twice during the conversation. And the customer seems to be always wrong not right. Oh well guess we picked the wrong company but are stuck with you for another 24 months. Oh btw if anyone still cares just a little the contract main number is ***. You can also contact me on this number. If you feel like it.

Oh and at POS we paid R101 for the Sim card and we were told the only other charge would be a peo rata, only to find another xharge coming off which we wee told on our third visit is a contract activation fee. Shame tour company must realt be struggling for money when a simple card cost R101 when wenapyong R10000 plus over 2 years and then still have a hidden cost for the activation. I thought paying for the Sim card would activate the contract. But 10 years in the industry what do I know.
