Vodacom Cresta - Returns phone with missing components

I sent my phone in for repairs to Vodacom Cresta. They booked the phone together with the battery and back cover. After about a month they returned the phone without repairing it even though I accepted the quote and cost for repairing the phone. They then re-booked it and when I went to pick it up after the repairs was completed, they returned my phone without the battery and back cover. Firstly this is unacceptable since they don't know where they left the battery and back cover. Secondly the consultant booking in the phone should have known not to accept the battery and back cover (this was the first time I sent a phone in for repairs). Thirdly, more than two months has gone by and Vodacom has shown no interest in locating my battery and back cover. The repairs has cost me more than R3200 but I'm unable to test the phone or check if they really did fix it as they have not sent back my battery. Since its a scarce phone, finding a replacement battery is very difficult and is only available outside of the country. This is unacceptable from Vodacom.

Thank you Vodacom for assisting. I've received a battery and back cover for my phone. I tested the phone after the repairs and everything is working 100%. I'm satisfied now as this was a scarce and expensive phone and is still under contract. A quicker turn-around time will definitely help improve Vodacom's customer service.
