Vodacom Credit Assessment – Deeply Unfair, Illogical & Emotionally Distressing

My name is Alzandri, and I am writing this because I am honestly devastated and exhausted by the way Vodacom’s contract-approval process has treated me.

I app**** for two Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra devices on contract. Earlier this year (February), I app**** for the exact same deal and was told to wait 90 days before trying again. I did exactly that — in fact, I waited much longer. It is now November.

Yet today, after all the waiting, I was told that I am “approved”… but only for one device.

How is this even possible?

My credit score is excellent, my affordability is not in question, and nothing negative has changed in my financial status. Vodacom is simply blaming “the system,” as if that excuses everything.

It is humiliating and extremely upsetting to be told that I somehow qualify for one phone, but magically do not qualify for the second phone — even though they are on the exact same contract structure and price. That makes no logical or financial sense.

I am now left feeling embarrassed, confused, and honestly in tears because this feels like I am being punished for no clear reason. It is not an affordability issue. It is not a credit-score issue. It is a system flaw — and even the staff assisting me admitted that “the computer decides.”

So VODACOM, Where is my.... Clear explanation for why the same contract, is partially approved. Also, you cannot tell me that your credit-assessment system is actually accurate and compliant, because my experience says otherwise.

This entire ordeal has caused unnecessary emotional stress and embarrassment. I waited the required time, I re-app**** in good faith, and I did everything right — yet I am being treated like I have done something wrong.

Please escalate this to someone who can apply real logic, real fairness, and real customer service.
