Vodacom ****y Contract

I had a Vodacom contract for a few years my problems began December 2016, Vodacom stopped debiting money from my account to be told i changed my bank account, i payed manually at a Voda Shop and requested that the debit orders be redirected to the same account since i did not change my banking details but i still had to pay the account manually until April 2017. When it was time for my upgrade in April 2017 a Vodacom consultant contacted me to inform me that i am due for an upgrade i decided to cancel my contract which i then informed them that i will not upgrade but would love to keep my number on prepaid, from this day i stopped getting all the benefits which include Data and Voice calls minutes. On 10th of August i received a text saying "Vodacom Reminder: Payment of R2337.67 has not been received. Please note that your service will be permanently deactivated with immediate effect, contact us on ********** to set a payment arrangement". I then called to find out why i am owing since i cancelled my contract in April 2017 and had not being getting any benefits since i buy my own airtime and data, their response was they will investigate. On the 14th of August my phone stopped working, I could not receive phone calls and no smses, I needed to have my number reactivated and working. Yesterday (23/08/2017) i went to a Voda Shop at Mall of the South to my surprise i was told i now owe R3079.15 (For what? i do not know) but i payed. I was told my number will be reactivated in 5hours from the payment time (13:11:50). Today my phone is still not working i get to work make a phone call the Voda Shop at Mall of the South the consultant then says my number was supposed to be activated already, he then gave me a Vodacom number ( ********** ) i spoke to a girl called Neo and she told me that my number has been permanently deactivated and it cannot be reactivated. I decided to call 082111 to find what is really going on as i am not getting answers, I gave my story to the consultant who then told me that my number has been deactivated since February 2016 (shocking as i have still been using this number) and i was also told my case is with the Legals Department and that is who i should be talking to. She then transferred me to Subscription Department instead of Legals. When i got to Subscriptions Department i was told again my number has been deactivated due to my lack of payment.
