Vodacom Cradlestone, disgraceful service

I'm an ex South African and I attempted to purchase a sim card today (4/12/18 at around 15:30). Have never experienced such rude service and animosity. An Afrikaans lady at the front desk of the store handled my query with such a low level of professionalism after I explained that I merely require a sim card whilst visiting family in South Africa, she was rude and impatient. She then had the audacity to gossip about me being Afrikaans and living in Australia, thinking I was outside of the store and wouldn't hear her. Staff should be trained to be friendly and to not gossip about potential clients whilst they are still in the store, I am saddened by this experience. I recall South African retail workers to be some of the friendliest in the world and today that view was completely disqualified. : -(
