Vodacom contravening the POPI act

I was appalled to find out that Vodacom has given out my number to Rewardsco.com, in contravention of the Protection of Personal Information Act. I want to know how this could be allowed, and spare me the generic responses saved for mindless idiots. I want to know who gave permission for my number to be given to some two bit ******* company who works during the national lockdown and has way more oersonal information on me than I would have allowed them to have.
