Vodacom Contracts - what they don't tell you.

I am in the unfortunate position of having 3 contracts with Vodacom. In an attempt to cancel two of them after their sudden mid contract price increases, I had to call 4 times and I am still not sure if the notice has actually been given. Firstly the phone got dropped on me 3 times after asking some questions, that their very *********** call center could not answer. Secondly I learnt that if you opened a contract during the middle of the month and it is expiring you cannot (even giving them enough notice) actually cancel the contract when it expires - so you have to pay pro-rata for that first month and then for a further full 24 months. This is a 24 month contract and if you are willing to open contracts in the middle of the month and bill your customers surely you should be able to end it in the middle of the month. I am so unhappy with Vodacom and how they treat their customers. Luckily I will not be with them for much longer.
