Vodacom contracts did me very dirty

Vodacom contracts agents deception. I took a contract with them in 2022, I paid it with no problems for the whole 34 months. Problems started when the contract was about to come to the end, i knew taking a contract with them was a risk as they never end well. When my contract was about to come to the end in December 2025, i called them early in august as i was already having anxiety about the contract ending because sometimes they tell you stories when the contract has come to an end. I spoke to their agent in august to tell him to request a notice of cancellation on my account as soon as it comes to an end coz im very scared as they normally say you should have called ealier when the time has come. So i did, i called them in august, the agent re assured me that i wouldnt have any problems when the time has come i must just call again end of October 2025. I agreed and called them again in october to make sure that i dont encounter any problems come december when the contract finally comes to an end. To my suprise i was told that the agent i spoke to in august had now extended my contract instead of puting a cancellation notice like i asked. I then asked for a recording of that call as we are always told that the calls are being recorded. I was told that they would get back to me, until today i havnt heard from anyone from vodacom and my credit score is now being affected by a debt i did not agree to. I was decieved and the contract extended without my consent. Now i cant buy anything on credit anymore because if this, im soo disappointed in vodacom. This level of deception and unprofessionalism in thier agents was very uncalled for.
