Vodacom contracts are a big *****, Stay away
I am very disappointed with vodacom and I feel I am being de*****ed. My data contract is coming to an end on the 3rd of December 2020. I call them to ask that they load no more data into the sim from tomorrow as I will not be renewing the contract. Instead they tell me I was supposed to provide a 30 days notice. I never received any notice from Vodacom requesting to upgrade or cancel. This goes to show that should I have never taken notice the contract would have been automatically renewed without me knowing.
if this is how Vodacom works then they are a big ***** I would never use their service and would strongly recommend people to stay away from their contracts.

I was not assisted as your records specify. My issue was not that of putting a notice but opting for a cancelation with no further top of data hence no bill to be paid end of December on the account.
This has not been resolved.

01 Dec 2020, 13:21My issue has not being resolved. Vodacom will be providing and charging me for data beyond the contract period which I do not want.
Given that the contract is ending on the 3rd I don't see why I must be forced to still pay beyond this date.
All in the name of I did not put a notice. Which I dispute that Vodacom should have notified me that my contract is ending in 30 or 60 days there warning me to take action and not default to what we are having now. I still say my issue is not resolved and it is ********* for Vodacom to have this as a practice.
