Vodacom Contractor Theft and incomplete installation

<p>I live in a security estate where Vodacom has launched Vodacom Fibre. I had fibre installed at my premmisses by Intelview, the Contractor appointed by Vodacom. A team of 5 workers commenced with the installation on 7 December 2016 but did not complete the task. I made an arrangement with them to continue with the installation of Friday, 9 December 2016. UP TO DATE I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO FINALISE THE INSTALLATION. On Saturday, 10 December 2016 I noticed that a Fitpit Charge 2 Watch and an external hard drive were missing from the rooms where installation took place. I contacted Derek Du Plessis ( ********** ) on 10 December 2016 and reported the matter to him. On Monday, 12 December 2016 he contacted me and referred me to Mr Mias ( ********** ) to discuss the matter with him. I informed Mr Mias of the incident and that nobody else was at my home and as such it can be assumed that the installation team took the watch and external hard drive. Mr Mias indicated that he has no proof and the matter was resolved. I have not been informed when installation will be completed and if the workteam will be held accountable for the items. I have informed the Estate Manager at Heron Hill Garden Estate (Peter Alexander ( ********** )) of the matter to ensure other residence do not experience the same exposure of theft and incomplete installation. Irequest that installation be completed, however with another contractor and under supervision. I furthemore request that Vodacom compensate me for the loss of my property.</p>
