Vodacom Contract Upgrade *****.
i am absolutely disgusted with Vodacom, i have been with them my whole life, i have also had multiple contracts, i took out a contract for a Samsung galaxy Tab A in july 2016, the contract was for the monthly amount of R378.99 a month which was supposed to be debited off my account on the 1st of each month, on the 26th of April 2018 R233.37 was debited out of my account, and then again on the 2nd of May 2018 R613.37 was debited out of my account, i only noticed this on the 12th of May 2018, i proceeded to call Vodacom and see what was going on, i then found out the on the 19th of April 2018 somebody was allowed to upgrade my contract at a Makro in Pretoria,(according to information given to me for one of Vodacom's call center agents) and this person upgraded my contract from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A to a Samsung galaxy S9 plus smartphone using my Identity, i then proceeded to state that is was not me who upgraded the contract, and inquired about what i need to do, i was then instructed to send an affidavit along with a copy of ID and a page with 3 signatures on it to ********** and an investigation will be launched and it could take up to 14 working days for the investigation to be completed, i sent the documents through at 10:39 am on 10/07/2018 to the ********** and received a reference number the following day, today 31/07/2018 i called the customer care to find out what is happening with the investigation as nobody has contacted me with any updates in regards to the status/conclusion of the investigation, and i was given this number( ********** 530) to which i call four times and the number just rings, i am highly upset with this as nobody from vodacom is trying to sort this out, and my name is being tarnished by the *********** employee's that allowed this to happen, i will never again buy anything from Vodacom nor will i ever recommend them as a provider to any person i know.
