VODACOM CONTRACT MISREPRESENTATION AND DAY LIGHT *******
I have a Misrepresentation complaint. Around August 2017, I app**** for a contract phone with Vodacom, an iPhone 6. This application was concluded telephonically. When the phone was delivered, we discovered there was an element of misrepresentation from the sales agent that had concluded the deal. I called in to cancel the deal and Vodacom sent a courier to fetch the phone and they said the contract will be cancelled and I have to reapply again, and I did another contract application telephonically. This was an Online deal and the device cost was R130 and the data, minutes and texts was R219, meaning the total monthly amount will be R349 per month for 24 months. This was the agreement and Vodacom delivered the phone. The instalments were not as per the agreement when they started to debit. The amounts were fluctuating from the time they started debiting till now. My concern and complaint is that Vodacom is overcharging me and I am now being charged R417.70 . I was never charged the agreed contract amount. I have tried to get the issue resolved from the contract inception till now, but Vodacom is not willing to get the issue resolved as I am not getting any help. Everytime I phone, I get to be sent from pillar to post. On the 3rd of October 2018, I engaged with Vodacom via Twitter and they promised to resolve the issue and they did not, till today and its NOW MORE THAN TWO MONTHS. I requested for call recordings for the Sales Agreement and they have been running around and not willing to provide them, so that we can listen and verify the facts to resolve the payments issue. Vodacom refused to provide a Query Reference number for this query. A lady called on the 18th of October 2018 offering a Vodacom deal and she said according to Vodacom systems on their side, its showing that the current contract that I have is R365, but to my surprise Im being charged around R417 a month. THIS IS THE LAST ATTEMPT I AM MAKING TO GET ASSISTANCE BEFORE I TAKE LEGAL ACTION TO RESOLVE THIS MISREPRESENTATION AND DAY LIGHT ******* THAT VODACOM IS DOING. I HAVE DONE THE BELOW:
1. Contacted Vodacom Call Centre from October 2017, but the agents did not help 2. Went to a Vodacom shop in 2017 and they did not help 3. Engaged with Vodacom on Twitter and they promised to help, but they did not AND I STILL HAVE THE PROOF
CAN I HAVE ALL THE CALL RECORDINGS TO BE EMAILED TO ME AS I NEED THEM TO TAKE THE ISSUE FURTHER
