Vodacom contract issues

On the 2020/09/20 I went to the Vodacom shop at our local mall in PMB to inquire about getting a new iPhone 11 cell phone with a larger screen as my first edition iPhone SE was becoming a little small for me to see because of my Multiple Sclerosis disease having affected my eye sight. I was told by the consultant my existing contract would only expire in November 2021 and the only way he could assist me was to set up a new contract. I eventually agreed and a new contract was started. I tried to get my old number moved over to the new contract as I had, had this number for 20 years already and it was linked to my banking app etc and all the people I had connected with over the 20 years, but I was told that could not be done. So I was now in the situation I had to keep both phones handy. After trying the eSim set up to link my two numbers to one device (which didn't work for me with what I had/ that's another long story) I was informed by customer care that the old contract linked to my 20 year old number could have been upgrade on the 2020/06/02, which means I was misinformed by the consultant on 2020/09/20 over 3 months after that date. On 2020/12/02 I went into the same Vodacom shop, requested to talk to the manager, but had to settle for the assistant manager who said he would look into the matter and get back to me. I was eventually called 5 days later, after I had made another trip to the store, by the same consultant who set up my new contract. He informed me he was tasked to get to the bottom of this. I have been back to the store a number of times, I have called the store a number of times since, but can never get more than its in the system and out of their hands as someone else higher up needs to resolve this as its over the 30 days threshold. On 2021/01/14 I called and left a message for one of the two consultants I had been dealing with to call me back. Surprising enough both these two consultants called me back in the afternoon with the same story (which is) Zama from this particular higher up office is working on my issue and this is the plan, my new contract started in 2020 will be cancelled at the end of Jan 2021, my old contract will be upgraded so I will only have one contract (my old number) from Feb 2021, but the contract will start off fresh again for the 3 year term. Initially I wasn't happy to start the 3 years all over again, but its better than the situation I find my self currently in. So here I am on 2021/02/02 at 15:32 both contracts are still active and I am still waiting for the consultant to call me back after two messages left yesterday morning.
