Vodacom contract increase without getting notification

I got 2 contracts with Vodacom the amount I was paying at the beginning of the year was R757.00. In March 2023 I received an email that the contracts was going up and my account went up to R810.00. This month I received my statement with the amo9unt of R1 088.00 when I made enquiries and was told that the contracts went up but I did not get any notification. Is it legal to increase your contract without notification.
