VODACOM CONTRACT *****

I had a 36 month cellphone contract with Vodacom which was of 2 phones and 1 SIM card, this contract ended on July 2025. Bare in mind that I have never used the 1 SIM card provided as it was an open line and I didn’t want to pay more than I already had to. Not to mention that after a few months of the commencement of the contract they increased the initial amount that we had agreed on when I signed. Now July 2025 came and of course the contract ended as signed. To my surprise however I received a call on December 2025 from VVM DEBT COLLECTORS claiming that I owe Vodacom, I informed them that my contract expired on July 2025 but they insisted that I owed. I have been continuously harassed by these Debt Collectors ever since. Now this is very alarming because I signed for a 36 month contract, nothing more. And as I stated I have never used their services so technically I was just paying for the phones I bought from them. Vodacom is clearly wanting to milk free money from us customers and I cannot have that. This is utter *****. I refuse to be harassed into paying more than I have to.
