Vodacom contract cancellation gone bad

I had 3 contracts with Vodacom last year. I started having debit order challenges when they migrated my account to their new 3D system. I would get irregular debit orders of which I would reverse. I kept on liaising with thier debt collection department until I decided to cancel all the contracts. I also decided to pay whatever the cost the provide as this was affecting my credit records.

In November, they provided me with all the outstanding costs and cancellation fees which I paid. I also called the debt collection to confirm receipt which they did confirm. I even received sms's confirming termination and migration to pre-paid.

In January I received a call from their debt collection system for +-R800 on one of the numbers that I cancelled. I called the call centre the next day (9 or 10 January 2017) to get explanation. The agent transfered me to debt collection. The agents there tried to calculate and identify where the costs were derived from but failed.

They then logged a dispute (Ref: 1- ********** 520397) on their system for the back office to resolve and stated that I should receive a call within 48 hours. Today (25/01/2017) I called back to follow up as there was not correspondance from Vodacom as usual. I was being transfered to all over the departments until after 17:00 and was told the relevant department is closed.

My question is, did Vodacom make more money out of me previously when I started receiving the doubvious debit orders? Why would I get a bill on a prepaid number? How many other customers are being over charged due to similar circumstances?

Can Vodacom please reply to me or give me call to resolve this. I need to know what they will do as well to clear my wrongful credit record they created.
