Vodacom Contract Cancellation Fiasco.

I have been a Vodacom Customer since 2002. In 2017 I took out a separate data contract which I no longer require. I called Vodacom customer services in February 2019 to cancel the contract. I was informed the contract would be cancelled 30 April (as that is when the contract expired) which I was happy with. In March 2019 I received an sms confirming the upgrade of this particular contract. I immediately called customer services again. They confirmed that I had upgraded the number and that if I denied this they would pull the telephone recordings to confirm this. I asked them to please review the recordings. They pulled the recordings and called me back to say that I had indeed cancelled the contract and they would set it straight. I received an sms on the 11th March to say that the upgrade reversal had been done. I called customer services again today as this number still appears on MyVodacom with a balance. The agent told me that this cancellation is "still in process". So after my initial request in February the cancellation request is "still in process".... 3 months down the line. I have demanded the matter be resolved today, which I did before. Needless to say I am now extremely tired of sitting on the line with customer services and angered at how this matter has been handled by Vodacom and their staff.
