Vodacom- contract cancellation ****

I Have been calling Vodacom endlessly to reverse charges and cancel my contract. after placing the notice for cancellation in February, for contracts(two) to end in March and be switched to prepaid, only one was ended. the other is continuing to bill. Vodacom call centres(outsourced **** centres, that seem to be billing Vodacom by calls taken and duration) can never assist. each time i call, they make me go over the entire history of the problem again, should this not have been logged on the system already? these call centres never escalate any issues or provide reference numbers. they always cut the call as an alternative to providing reference number or escalation. in February I had to argue with the consultant to place notice for cancellation, they said that I could only place notice on the 28 feb 2025, after some argument and convincing, they were able to place the notice. I feel that this bully tactic from Vodacom is just to get extra premiums out of loyal customers.

My concern is that while still discussing and my many requests for escalation of this matter, vodacom still listed my account with the credit bureau as unpaid. your many popup outsourced, ill equiped call centres have no ability to address such issues, log such issues or escalate. they cant find records of calls, they cant find records of cancellation. when you ask for escalation, they cut the calls. when you call back, you got to go through the entire issue again. this is beginning to seem like ******ion.

pay first, to avoid being listed(threatening), and after that we will decide if we will return your money, if you are persistant and waste a lot of your time to follow up, then we might find the time to return your money.

Dear Vodacom,

please contact me urgently, I have tried to reach you via the customer service, however they cannot find an account or an outstanding amount to be paid. the collections and legal department doesn't allow my call to go through as I have no account or outstanding amounts due. you have provided a letter that indicates settled in full, your call centre indicates that there is no account. however, I am still receiving SMS to make payment, I am still listed on your credit bureau.
