Vodacom contract call limit ****

I'm not happy with vodacom. My contract had a voice limit lock but my bill was high this month. When I called the query was logged and I was told that I will receive a call to deal with the query. Today I received a call from a woman named Judy from Vodacom and she said my data limit lock doesn't guarantee Vodacom technical "competency" and so if my calls are over I have to pay.. I've had my contract for 4 years and have never had such issues. So I asked her what changed because Vodacom locked it for me and she kept on repeating the same thing. Since it was a back and forth long conversation I told her that am I gonna get the same surprise next month, then she said I will have to monitor my calls, I said for 4 years Vodacom has locked them for me and now have the terms and conditions changed and she actually didn't make sense in her explanation.. After that call I decided to call Vodacom customer services and asked them the terms of voice call lock, they said there is no way I could go over if Vodacom has done the lock.. While I was talking on the phone, I received an sms stating that my limit lock has been diactivated... I asked the customer service lady what is happening and she told me that someone just deactivated my call limit lock..

This thing looks like they are purposely doing this to **** me.

Dear Vodacom.

You are not addressing everything I wrote in my review.
1. Have your terms and conditions changed since I've been with Vodacom because this is the first time this has happened to me and I did call Vodacom customer service and they gave me the same info that Vodacom can/does lock call limit and it never goes over when that has been done.

2. The person who called me Why did they deactivate my Call Limit lock after speaking to me?? She opened my line on purpose, why?? Is that how you guys do business??

I'm reopening this query because after she annoyed me by telling me her own version of call lock, she then purposely deactivated my call lock.. Or is that also in terms and conditions?? That when you loose an argument, you start to play dirty??

Your reply is sooo annoying I won't lie. Address everything I wrote PLEASE!!

According to VODACOM Call limit terms and conditions..

Mandatory Call Limit

  1. In order to protect you from any surprises on your Vodacom bill, all Vodacom customers are subject to a monthly mandatory call limit for the first seven (7) months of your contract period.

  2. The removal of the call limit may be possible after seven (7) months depending on assessment of your overall credit profile. If your account is already seven months old and an additional line is added onto your account, the limit will remain in place for a minimum of four (4) months on the additional line.

  3. The call limit is prescribed by Vodacom and is set on the usage of your cellphone e.g. calls, data and SMS only.

  4. You will receive threshold SMS notifications once your usage has reached the 50%, 70% & 90% mark.

  5. Once your call limit has been reached, you will not be able to make calls, send Vodacom SMSs or use data until the start of the new month. You will however still be able to receive calls and SMSs during this time and make calls to the 112 Emergency Services and 082 135 Vodacom Customer Care line.

Please read especially no 5... That Judy lady ****!!!!
I'm reopening this query.
