Vodacom continues to disappoint and steel

Januray 13, 2017

Buymondo and Vodacom teaming up to rob their clients

I was sold a Wi-Fi rooter, with a VODACOM contract over the phone by a BUYMONDO agent at the end of September 2016. I received the rooter and sim card
shortly after. I went to my local VODACOM customer care store and was
informed that the information regarding the transaction was false. I
immediately lodged a complaint. Within a one week period of receiving the rooter. An
inquiry was run and BUYMONDO ACKNOWLEDGED THAT I WAS MISLED (**** TO). I was told
that they will send a courier service to come and fetch the rooter and that
they will lodge a cancellation of contract with Vodacom. This was early
October. In the meantime the debit order would still be deducted from my
account but will be credited once the cancellation has gone through.

I phoned diligently, waiting endlessly for an operator, to monitor the
progress of the cancellation, but was told every time that the cancellation
was lodged but has not been send through to Vodacom. Every time I asked
them they told me that they would escalate the request and that they were
sorry but that there WAS NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO HASTEN THE PROCESS. In the
mean time I have paid monthly premiums on the contract of which I haven't
used one bit of data. The conversations end by them telling me not to worry
and that everything is in place for the cancellation AND THAT THEY ARE
SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Three months later…..

The conversations are still the same.

I then contacted VODACOM DIRECT. According to the operator they receive many complaints from clients regarding products sold by BUYMONDO dealers over the phone. Again unashamedly acknowledging that ********* nature of the company. He opened an inquiry with reference number EC-04IY-26Y9AN. He seemed confident that the issue would be resolved. After this call I received a mail from VODACOM stating that they strive to answer to inquiries in two business days’ time.

23 days later…..

I haven’t received as much as a mail acknowledging my complaint.

No one can help me but VODACOM is very happy to receive my debit order
monthly. I have never been more frustrated with client service. I am
dismayed at the fact that they were able to lie to me, acknowledge that they
****, activate a debit order and initiate a contract all in the scope of
two weeks, but cannot even after several calls cancel a contract in a
period of four months. You leave the unhappy, paying client with no avenue
to further a complaint. You expect me to just pay at the end of every month
while you deliberately procrastinate the process.

VODACOM AND BUYMONDO are blindly robbing their own clients. I am quite aware that you won’t give a damn about a complaint like mine, but for reasons of sanity I resorted to Hello Peter.

DB Bosman

BUYMONDO complaint reference 65178

VODACOM complaint EC-04IY-26Y9AN

Contact number: ********** 310

24 February 2017

After the above complaint placed on Hallo Peter I recieved a call from a Vodacom operator. He again informed me that Vodacom was tending to my complaint and that they will resolve it .

A month has passed, another debit order has gone off my account and still Vodacom has done nothing. They continue to steel from me.

Month after month they take my money without providing a service, without tending to my complaint, without correcting their mistake after they have admitted to deceiving me. It is clear that they don't care.

Surely this is a ******** act. But why would a large corporation like Vodacom worry about a single client like me. And after all they still get their money every month.

I HATE this company.
