Vodacom continued disappointment
Firstly I was upset with how the fiber in my household was running and wasn’t getting the speed I signed up for.
Then when I want to cancel my contract, which is supposed to be a month to month contract, they expect me to pay a cancellation fee because Vodacom signed a 12 or 24 month contract with frogfoot. The agent that assisted me with the contract never once told me any of these details and now I’m expected to pay a fee that is more than two of my existing contracts combined.
So then I spoke to the Sales Manager Ra’ees and he said he will assist me to find out what’s happening. I hear nothing back from him. After a few tweets on Twitter I get a call from Deon Andrews, someone involved in the social media aspect of Vodacom and he also wants to try and sort out the issue and says he will get back to me the next day in the morning. After waiting all day I get a call back from the operations manager of a franchise. After asking if they could test the fiber line and will get back to me nothing yet still has come out of it. More tweets later I get a call from another social media manager to get told the operations manager said that I didn’t want to cancel my contract.
I’m beyond appalled of the customer service from Vodacom . Iv been a client for more than 7 years and I still get treated like a number by everyone. I want my fiber canceled and will not pay for anything that’s less than what was offered to me.
I Feel let down by this brand and disappointed that I’m paying full price to a brand that thinks it is acceptable to be delivering 70% of what we are supposed to be getting. They wouldn’t feel it just if I started paying 70% of the account now would they. They keep passing me around thinking I’ll get tired of telling my story - disappointing to say the least but from the rest of the service I have received from them I can’t say I’m shocked.
