Vodacom consultants *****ing from unsuspecting pensioners

May 2018, my mother received a call from one of the consultant of vodacom telling her she needs to upgrade, she informed the consultant that she does not want to upgrade and if she did she will go to the nearest Vodacom store and upgrade. In June there was a deduction in her account of R150, she didn't get a notification since she gets notified from R200 above. July a consultant called her saying "she can see my mother is a pensioner but she is paying too much on her vodacom account, and that she will reduce her monthly amount". My mom was surprised because since from the very beginning of her account, she has been paying R76 for 1Gig on her Samsung Tab 3, 7' of 2013 monthly and has never upgraded since like over 5years ago. We cautioned her to go check her statement, the shock she found, there was a deduction of R247 for the month of July. We traced her previous statements to find the other deductions, dating back to May. We went to vodacom to check the story with my mom's number only to find, she has been upgraded without her consent, the guy who assisted us could not see who made the upgrade. On the 23 July she contacted vodacom again trying to get to the bottom of this matter, she spoke to Mary who put her through to Lesego who promised they will try trace her recorded conversation and revert, to date no communication. Since the guy at vodacom was unable to see who made the upgrade, can the people in the big offices of vodacom trace my mom's account - account details ********** 0 ********** 824 and fix the matter. She is a pensioner who enjoys her 1Gig on her tablet can we vodacom and its consultant not frustrate my mom please.
