Vodacom consultant Clowns

I would like to place on record how disgusted am being treated by VODACOM, although being a loyal client for the past 35 years.

My Home LTE number *** line expires on the 16 November 2005.

I called the cancellations department to cancel this line and install a fibre line for me.

I Was told by the consultant at Cancellations to contact theFibre department on *** and that they would handle the entire process for me, including cancelling my LTE line.

I called the Fibre department in October 2025, who acknowledged that they would install my line with Openserve and send me a modem at a charge and then automatically cancel my LTE line. This process was completed within a week.

On the 4th November I called your cancellations department who said to me that my LTE line has not been cancelled and the Fibre department will not automatically cancel my LTE line (BUNCH OF CLOWNS).

I however requested for the LTE line to be cancelled and was then convinced by the lady at the call centre to review my main line *** as well as another Data line number 082 .***.

She telephonically quoted me R487 for both lines ie. 4 gigs plus 250 minutes plus unlimited sms’s on my personal number as well as 40 gigs - 20 day and 20 nights and said that that is the amount that I would be charged as rom the 1st December 2025.

I asked her to please send me an email with the quotes which she never did.

Furthermore I sent your Customercare several emails requesting this email which I had never received.

I now receive a statement for R2189 (see below).

I Then phoned again on Friday 14th November to enquire only to be pushed from one consultant to another.

I Was also given an 0866 number to call as according to your consultant they were the agents (DISGUSTING) At 3pm the 0866 number was closed.

I now see that MTN is offering a 10 gig bundle plus unlimited calls + unlimited sms’s as well as porting my same number.
