Vodacom cons me into payinmg more for less....

Vodacom telesales phoned in July and sold me the following; a higher package at a lower rate; I said I don't need anything; they said; but you will be paying less for more..no brainer right? I've had my current device for almost two years. The first debit order goes off at 35% more expensive and now I am unable to upgrade my device (when it was due) and will now only be able to upgrade the device in two years time...leaving me with a 2year extension on an old device and paying more per month for a package I never needed. This BS sales tactics gives sales people a bad name and is frankly ********. Apparently I am unable to change the package because it's outside of the cooling period of 14 days...Vodacom - NEVER CALL ME AGAIN TRYING TO SELL ANYTHING...you guys are bull****ters! why would anyone agree to paying more for something they don't need and extend the device upgrade with another two years one month from the device upgrade. They will now do an investigation and let me know what the outcome is; but according to the call center I cannot change the contract and will be liable for it for another two years....

an investigation has been logged with the national call center. How can I be expected to extend upgrade on my device with another two years and accept that I am now tied into the "new contract" for two years without a new device? it doesn't even make sense on any level. One couldn't cancel a contract because you had to then pay for the device; but when there is no device and I have to use the device for 4years I simple cannot accept it and wouldn't have changed the package at all...
