😡 Vodacom Confirmed ***** but Still Destroying My Credit for Over a Year!

I honestly can’t believe how Vodacom is handling this situation. I reported a clear case of ***** and identity theft back in March 2024, submitted every single document they asked for (police affidavit, Vodacom affidavit, ID copies, branch visit — everything).

Vodacom’s own ***** Department confirmed in writing that it was ***** and that the account was reversed. I even have an email from their team admitting it was a *****ulent upgrade and apologizing for the delay.

And yet — my account was handed over the attorneys who then started harassing me and demanding payments of something I did not know. And here I am, more than a year later, still sitting with a R11005.00 false default amount on my name that’s destroying my credit score and blocking me from getting anything. Every time I call Vodacom, I get the same line: “We’re still investigating, it will take 14 days”. After 14 days, there no resolution and I have to repeat the process.

How can you still be investigating something your ***** team already confirmed in writing a year ago!?

I’ve emailed countless times, called every number, and been bounced between customer care, *****, and attorneys who all say they can’t help me. I keep getting automated replies and zero accountability. It’s honestly like being stuck in a loop that never ends.

This has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I’ve done everything right, provided all the evidence, and Vodacom still refuses to give me a formal clearance letter or update my record with the credit bureaus.

You confirmed the *****. You said you have reversed it. So fix my name on the credit buraus. Stop hiding behind “investigations” and give me the letter and clear my name from credit bureaus. I’ve been asking for for over a year. This is negligence and it’s causing real financial harm.
