Vodacom condones ***** by ignoring reports
I have been reporting ***** to Vodacom for the past 3 months, and they have done NOTHING about it. I have been phoning and emailing, playing nice and being angry. Someone opened a WiFi account under my name. I received a statement from Vodacom on the 7th of January 2019. I emailed them and phoned them to report that I did not open a new account with them. On 18 March 2019 I received a 'Sales order status has been changed to completed status '. Again, I reiterated my concerns. On the 1st of April, they debited money from my account WITHOUT my concent. After fighting again over the phone, I got bounced around from person to person. Eventually, I managed to get my ********** debit order canceled, only to be told that this would give me a bad credit record. I used to have an account with Vodacom, which was successfully canceled and the money stopped coming off my account. Now, this different amount has started to be debited. They debited R105. 92 from my account, should they do this to 100 people they would make R10 592 without clients concent I. E. *******ly ( and who's to say they haven't done it to 1000 clients?) Vodacom has ****** money from me, they are refusing to cancel the ********** account and they are jeopardizing my credit record that I have worked so hard for! I can continue to elaborate on the incompetence and complacency of Vodacom, but I think that this is enough for now... I am hoping that Vodacom will be able to explain themselves in this regard. It's a pitty that these days the only way you can get a company to be accountable is by reporting them to the public.
