Vodacom -- condescending attitude

I am getting so irritated by Vodacom Customer Services who is becoming more condescending by the day. Take this morning on a call with a Kaheteyu ... I ask for two things: detailed billing for one of my data contract and then for a way to have that contract viewable on my Vodacom App as I cant see detailed billing on line. I am told to go to a Vodacom shop to sort out the App issue (seriously?) as they cannot do anything on the phone. Why I would need to go to a store when I did all the registrations on line is besides me. When I question the lady and press for reasons for me having to leave my home to attend to a technical issue that has nothing to do with me, I can hear that she is getting agitated and start addressing me in a condescending way -- to the point I asked her whether she understand the meaning of that word and she refuses to respond. I then ask to speak to her supervisor and am told that they will not speak to members of the public (seriously??). All she can say is that "i did not thing wrong ... I said nothing wrong ..." to which I am telling her to stop treating me like an idiot and put me through to someone of authority. As for my itemized billing (which Vodacom wants to charge you R13) I am asked for my email address and I confirmed that they have all this on record so why ask for things which they know after I have gone through security checks already?

There is not viable alternative to Vodacom and despite having been a client for 15 years, I long for the day a new provider can provider decent service. I however read some much discontent in SA with service providers and Vodacom is the least bad. Amazing.

Thank you to the gentleman who called me -- not sure what the name was unfortunately but he spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to sort out the technical problem and was apologetic for the poor customer service experience I had previously. Thank you
