Vodacom Complaints...

I purchased 100MB of Data on Monday (27th June) before end of day of the 28th I was told by the Vodacom Customer Call Centre Agent that this was depleted and I was charged out of bundle rates.

MY COMPLAINTS:

1) There was "no notification" sent to my phone telling me that I had (x) amount of data left before the mobile data will be depleted.

2) I had over R350 worth of airtime which was used within the same day. I did not make any chargable calls on that day of 28th June.

3) My device has always been configured to only update/download when connected to WiFi

4) When I called the Vodacom Customer Support 082111 on 28th June. I've explained to the Support Centre Agent it is virtually impossible for 100MB of data to be altogether consumed as I am a very "conservative" user if I am outside a WiFi area.

4.1 I requested and also insisted for the Agent to raise a ticket for my query which he said he will do. This was not done when I called the following day (29th) nothing was logged.

4.2 The Agent advised that he will call me in a hour's time on the 28th but did not do so. Where is Vodacom services going to, Is customer service of any importance or priority anymore?

4.3. When I called on the 29th and yet again I had to insisted for a ticket raised and given a ref. no. 1- ********** 9242 . Waiting for the outcome of the backoffice investigations.

5. I personally dont trust Vodacom system as my daughter had an issue last week were her Vodacom airtime was all consumed. She always call a number (almost daily) which had been listed under My5 numbers. She was told by the Vodacom Support Centre Agent that the number was not listed. My daughter insisted that number is listed and she calls that number almost everyday when she purchases My5. She did a screenshot of the 5 numbers that were listed under My5. Upon investigation by Vodacom it was found that the number is listed on My5. So I dont understand if the Agents are competent or not and if the Vodacom systems are to be trusted or have some bugs!

6. I cannot understand how Vodacom data (100MB) gets consumed within a day and I purchase 100MB of data on CELLC and this last me an average a month. I would like for a Service Provider who specialises on data to do an analsys between Vodacom and CELLC mobile data usage accessing the same tools, sites to measure the data usage on these 2 networks. Also ensure that same devices are used and configured the same.

7. I am sadden to know what could be happening to those that are not fully competent or understand how these services work and are getting ****** on a daily basis because of ignorance.

8. In conclusion Vodacom please tell/show me your notification was sent that your data is coming close to depletion like CELLC and other vendors do?
