Vodacom Committing *****
On 30 March I sent Vodacom, an email. Stating that 1 of my accounts was **********ly upgraded and that I did jot authorize the upgrade. In fact the emailed me a quote on 30 March, which I did not accept, however Vodacom did the upgrade on 03 March, more than 3 weeks before I received the quote. I have made numerous calls to Vodacom to correct the ********** upgrade of my account. However, Vodacom are not interested. They just want me to pay. Everytime I have called the call centre states thatbthey will escalate the problem, I actually asked them to copy me in on their emails, but got told they cannot. So clearly they don't care. So much for their calls been recorded, as they clearly choose which calls to keep....imagine keeping a call where by they have committed *****. That would be be self incriminating. I have called them numerous times as I stated in my first telephone call, the need to reverse the ********** upgrade and reinstate my original contracts. In my 2nd phone call I actually asked Vodacom to email me the correspondence but was told the could not. Again this would be self incriminating. After numerous calls to Vodacom, never mind ghe trips into various stores, they have now switched off the 2 numbers in question. However they have emailed me an account to be paid within 7 days...this account I never agreed to. I am not sure how to lay a charge of ***** at the police station. But that seems like the only way. As I have always said that I refuse to pay the upgrade charges. More than likely Vodacom will again ignore this and the small guy will be just have to suffer. I have been a Vodacom subscriber for over 25 years...but do I count...no. they don't care.
