Vodacom Collections...**** or genuine?
I have been targeted by a company called HP Attorneys who are spamming me for money owed..but I have a prepaid account. They respond to replies with "Noted" then continue their spamming and threatening. I have had to intervene for a 72 year old pensioner who has also been targeted like this...
Debit order on your Vodacom account has been confirmed. Payment will be deducted shortly. Call: ********** or WhatsApp: **********, HP Attorneys
Needless to say Vodacom's ***** reporting page is non-functional.
So is this a **** ***** or a Vodacom responsibility? Either way it is plainly intimidatory and *******.

18 Nov 2020, 17:40Since my review I above I have been contacted by "Vodacom". They could not find any! record of debt but did confirm that HP Attorneys were targeting South Africans on their behalf. They asked me! for information and reference numbers. When asked if they could not track my case they promised to do so and never got back to me. Since then I have bee receiving the continued threats and harassment from HP attorneys for a "debt" that Vodacom know nothing about. How is this allowed to continue without legal intervention from the agencies that govern these service providers?
In addition to my case the pensioner to whom I referred above remains a Target for HP attorneys too. I sent these ******** a proof of payment package for the pensioner's history and contact terminations. They noted and promised to stop the harassment. Yet like my case they continued their targeted harassment . Today the pensioner received an email from these strong-arm operators . They have no proof of debt and even offer a 30% discount for this fabricated amount. The unrelenting **** continues . How many other victims are there ? Is it possible for someone to assist, perhaps with a class action suit.
