Vodacom closes online chat when you complain

I app**** for an upgrade last night on Vodacom's online store, so therefore the delivery process will only happen next week, So I have contacted every department to find out as to why I cannot collect my upgrade from a store rather then waiting for delivery. Everytime I speak to someone they cannot give me and reason, so I resorted to the Vodacom online chat. Where I did this twice and at both times when it came to asking the question they couldnt give me a reason and therefore closed the chat without saying anything further.
I dont see how this process is an issue for Vodacom as surely all of Vodacom works together as one company, I am saving Vodacom money by wanting to collect my handset from a store rather then them paying for delivery of the product, my main issue here is that I need a new handset as my old one no longer functions the way it should and in the industry I work in I need my phone.
I just wish someone could give me a reason or just make a plan for me to get the handset from a store, it cannot be that difficult to communicate that from office to an outlet.
After all they say that their customer comes first, but I do not feel this is being implemented.
