Vodacom Clearly Does Not Want My Business
So I don't know if this will in any way resolve my issue with Vodacom but at least I can make other people aware of the pathetic service I have received from them. I ordered one of their Black Friday deals and a bit more than a week later I have not received any correspondence from them at all. I took into consideration the whole Black Friday chaos and gave them adequate time to contact me and sort out the contract for me. Eventually, I tried to phone their call centre to find out what the hold up was. I battled about 3 hours to get through with no luck, being put on hold for about 30min at a time where I then ended the call. I left a message on their facebook to contact me as I could not get through... their reply "call us to resolve the matter". This after I told them I could not get through to their call centre. When I eventually managed to get through to the call centre, the consultant could see all my details on their system but told me that the contract was not available anymore and that I should email their admin department to resolve my issue. I sent an email to the given email address and now 2 days later still have not received any reply. I emailed their customer care department also with no reply. I tried their facebook page again and even DM'd them on twitter - with the only response being that I should phone them! I eventually went into one of the physical stores, knowing that they would probably not be able to assist, looking for answers. The friendly consultant in store went onto my profile and showed me that they cancelled my request for the new contract. So do they not want my business or what is the problem? I have 3 contracts with them already which I took out for family members and 1 for myself. I know my business is only a drop in the ocean but still, they managed to lose me as a customer as I will be not be renewing any of my existing contracts with them. I will now get a new contract from another service provider instead!
