Vodacom Claims Ignorance to ***** More Money

Honestly, don't take out an account with Vodacom unless you have to. And check your account every month!! After my contract expired with Vodacom, I wanted to switch to a cheaper airtime only sim that they had on special and explained that to my local branch. I don't usually check my Vodacom statement closely, so I was shocked to realise six months later that my plan hadn't been switched like I had asked. When I went to complain, they offered me a different deal that I eventually took bc my family insisted on it. But that's not even the shocking part. For months they had been charging me an additional R56 every month and I kept thinking it was data charges bc it goes under that section of the statement. They never told me what it was when I queried it, just said that it was some 'entertainment service' fee. I kept telling them to cancel it. One of their consultants even told me that I must have 'pressed a button or ad' that activated the service fee. How is that possible?? I stood in front of the consultant and told him to cancel it bc I didn't want to ****** of money and he told me he did it. Lo and behold, my statement comes and the same amount of money is gone. So in one year, Vodacom has basically ****** R660 from me and lie to my face about it, and refuse to cancel this imaginary service that they can't even explain to me how I signed up for.

Do yourself a favor and get any other service provider. Tomorrow I will be **** to by more Vodacom customer care people, and continue to have my money ****** until this God forsaken contract is done and their terrible phones can go with it. I'm never using them again.
