Vodacom - Claiming ********** monies

I had vodacom accounts several over the years, always paid every single bill on time. I left SA in Jan 2015, paid the fees to terminate my contracts early, changed 2 of my numbers to pay as you go which I still have. I returned to SA in april 2016 to be informed by MBD that I need to pay just above R100 for my vodacom account... I was immediately alert thinking it may be a phishing call and text. I opted to go directly to Vodacom who informed me in writing that I did not owe any money on my personal accounts, but that the fees outstanding was linked to another account (my previous employer's) to which I was linked in my personal capacity. I got my previous employer involved, stalked them for months to pay the bill which was affecting my personal credit rating. Got them to a point where they agreed to pay, with the required proof from MBD lawyers who handles the vodacom outstanding fees. MBD was unresponsive not providing the info requested, they take weeks to respond to mails, several of their mail addresses fail continuously, and to this date they havent been able to probide a detailed account as requested for the outstanding fees which according to them is more than R2000 for accounts I closed and paid more than R6000 to terminate early. I never cancelled any debit orders, was never informed by vodacom that I owed them any fees, not via mail, text, call or any other method. They just handed me over to MBD, I mailed the written proof that vodacom stated I do not owe them any monies and MBD just doesnt respond. Where to now to clear my name? In my view I dont owe vodacom any monies, i havent been pursued by vodacom for the outstanding fees only mbd who is tough near impossible to liaise with. Be careful who you decide to take your next contract with! I was a customer with them for more than 10 years only to be treated like this! Pathetic!

To this date I haven't heard back from Vodacom other than their holding response, in the meantime I'm sitting with the bad credit rating due to pathetic service, non-responsiveness from Vodacom and their lawyers MBD. Vodacom / MBD steer clear if you can.
