vodacom claim rejected for nothing

l lost my phone on the 25th of july 2023 then went to vodacom to claim from my insurance and it was rejected because they said the sim card was not inserted on the phone which is a big lie l've never removed my simcard since l bought the phone which system are you relying on because lve never ever removed the simcard
