Vodacom cheated me with ordering new phone!!!

I have ordered x2 phones from Vodacom last week Monday(5 June 2017). We used their Live Help on their website and Austin eventually called us to chat with us directly. Everything was sorted and Austin, the agent said we can expect the phones in 2-5 business days.

We were very pleased with the awesome deal. I then recommended my Mom also to get this deal and she went into the shop on Friday, 9th June 2017. She got her phone the very next day(Saturday). We were still waiting on ours and assumed that this is due to us getting the phones R30.00 cheaper for ordering online.

On Monday we got a call from Austin to follow up with us as to why we had cancelled the phones deal. To our surprise we said we never did cancel and we were expecting some good news that our phones should arrive today.(12th June 2017). He told us that on his system the order was cancelled. I was so furious as he could not explain why this was cancelled. I asked him to check the logs as there must be a reason or to see who cancelled this. He said that the phones ARE OUT OF STOCK NOW!!! We were upset with tremendous anger for this outrageous news. My Mom, who we recommended, has a phone after order 4 days later.

We got a call the following Monday to say our order was cancelled and they are out of stoc**** ***!!. Then he continues to say, would we still like to order, of course this was a very good deal and we demanded that we still want this deal at the same price!!

He said that he will re-order but we will get our phones in 2 WEEKS!!! That's 3 weeks on total because of their ********** I demanded that a manager calls us back immedielatey to explain their reasons for cancelling and we DEMANDto be compensated for this gross inconvenience. This is ridiculous that we now have to wait for 3 weeks. VODACOM, take yourself offline and stick to instore purchasing until you get proper, professional training to handle online ecommerce.!!!! I went to check the web page of the phone from where we purchased as I saved the page and only to find that the specific page for the phones was now removed and shows as an error page. *** is happening here Vodacom. And still up to now, no call from any management!!!!

I expect compensation for this, this is not on!!!!! What a way to start off a brand new customer....
