Vodacom charging me penalties for their incompetence!
I am beyond frustrated with Vodacom and trying to change my debit order! For the past four months I have tried to change my debit order from the 25th to the 7th of each month. Each time they debit on the 25th Vodacom charges me a penalty of R100.00 for unpaid funds. I visited the Vodacom store in Vincent Park, East London filled out the debit order forms, gave copies of my ID etc, and requested date change. They promised the debit order was changed. Then again on 25th October the debit order tried to come off. I contacted the call centre and spoke to a very helpful lady called Bulelani - she logged the call and requested a waiver of the penalties on the account, she assured me the debit order was instructed to come off on the 7th November 2017, reference number 1 - ********** **********
Today, 10th November 2017, I get a sms from Vodacom that my account is in arrears and I need to make urgent payment, plus they have charged me more penalties! I referred to my bank statement and the debit order was never initiated to come off on the 7th. I honestly don't know what to do anymore!!!!!! Worst customer service delivery I have ever experienced.
